Lightbulb Buying Bigs and Littles. Need pics and help.

I know there is probably only like 3 people on here with a new edge with bigs and littles but I'm posting this here too anyways. I don't need to see S197s, Foxes or SN95s.

I am going to be buying some bigs and littles. I need some pics of 99-04 cars ONLY with drag setups to decide if I want to go with 15" or 17" fronts.

I am going with Weld Racing RTS wheels, I considered Billet Specialties but I prefer black centers on my car, not all polished. The rears will be 15x10, 6.5" backspacing. Fronts will either be 17x5 or 15x4.

***Will 15x4 fit on the front with stock Cobra brakes?

For the rear tires I am thinking either 295-55-15 or 325-50-15.

***Anyone that has 325-50-15, did you have issues getting these to fit? I've seen a couple Terminators with them but it looks really tight. I don't really want them to stick out past the fenders much.

I am running a SN-95 width solid rear end.

If you post pics of your setup, please post the specs on the wheels and tires (wheel sizes and backspacing, and tire sizes and brands too)

I think mike from wolf pack was selling a set he had on his terminator? I think they were weld black forged 17 front and 15 rears

15x4 will not clear Cobra brakes without spacer as far as I know. I switched my Mach 1 to GT brakes for the wheel clearance.

Here are big and little Centerline Telstars and Weld RT-S's. My front Welds are 15x6, but they sit exactly like the 15x4's would in the fender. My rear Welds are 15x8 with a 4 1/2 inch backspacing. They are right on the edge of sticking out too far IMO. With a SN95 rear end you should be okay.

Should look bad ass. You gotta run a 1" spacer up front for the 15s right?

Be careful with those front tires, I've seen a few of them fail with these nose heavy cobras. You may want to go with a M/T flame tread radial up front.

I don't think so, Competition on SVTP had them on his 01 Cobra without a spacer and said they didn't hit the brakes.

Thanks for the heads up Lou, I'll look into some better fronts.

Biggest I have seen is 325/50 and 28/13.5.

You might need more back spacing though, 7" would probably work. Since the 99-04 rear end is wider than mine, I have SN-95 width.

From everything I have read about the 15x4 it will fit WITHOUT a spacer if your brake pads are around 50% wore. Heard of some with fresh pads not being able to get them on

Thanks guys, my buddy has one at his shop I'm gonna see if I can borrow it.

Jason, I think that's true for most of the 15" fronts out but I guess the Weld RTS were designed to fit over bigger calipers.
