is this track closed now? i got a email that the steelcity nats are being held there again this year and when you go on qcr website it says its closed down,so i emailed the promoter and again they said the show is on this isnt making any sence(the show sucked last year) anyway but this still is confuseing me.

Track is closed. SVN event should be the last event there.

every where i read says that the track is closed as of now and the steelvalley nats are not on till june i thought they where building houses on that property and the track was all ready gone.

The Steel Valley Super Nationals are on at Quaker City Raceway, June 22-24,
2007.

The track will be prepped and ready for racing, so come on out and celebrate
Quaker City Raceway's 50th anniversary at the Stadium GM Steel Valley Super
Nationals.

And don't forget the after party in downtown Salem, all three nights. And
remember, this year the party at the track goes until Midnight on Friday and
Saturday so you can race and show under the lights.

Word has it that a couple of people are going to lease the track this year to see how it goes, then possibly they may buy it. Hopefully this is true.
