I have a nearly complete 4.6l from an 02 GT...car had 86K miles when parted.....engine has heads, intake t/b.......there are NO COILS on there....i took em for spares(lol).........the valve covers are cracked from the wreck......I never heard the motor run, but it has oil in it and does turn over..............asking $350

hey man im interested in the motor but got a quick question, i have a 98 gt and i need a motor but can i just drop a 99-04 in w/o any trouble? is there any difference that would make not just drop and hook up? please pm me and let me know as i need a motor asap! thanks

I have no clue.... Call a local junk yard or give terry at street lethal a call
They've got different heads. I'd swap computers too, or just get yours retuned.

i cant see there being any difference really just dont want to find out the hard way.. and j.c where are you located? im going to look into it more tomorrow and see what my options are cause i would like to have a motor in mine by the end of this weekend!
I'm about 20 mins west of Youngstown .... On the way to summit racing... If u know where that is
heads and intake are much better than whats on your 98 but the motor is the same.I'd assume the oil pan is too but you have yours if you need to swap

Pretty much. She don't drive on them anymore because her dad said the 255s I gave her to replace the 275s were too big?
