I've been blessed with good genes and probably an overactive thyroid gland. I've always been little. 5'8" / 160lbs, but it's not easy staying that way the older I get. As soon as my pants start getting tight, I literally will stop eating. Only one meal a day... sometimes I skip the whole day.![]()
I work out for about 45 minutes M-TH, then party F-S. Just basic stuff, push-ups, sit-ups (a few sets of 50 each), then some excercises with barbells and a few squats. Hit the heavy bag for a while.
When people say, "How come you're so thin, you're so lucky" while they're cramming chocolate-filled donuts in their pie holes, I say, "I don't eat".
They think I'm nuts, but I'm telling the truth.![]()
Oh, and lots of water... no matter what.
I walk on my lunch break at work...oakland has plenty of hills to choose from. Plus I'm a member at Ballys. Use to go everyday, but its too nice out...and the air is broken half the time.![]()
I work out 5 days a week. I started the first week of january weighing about 172 pounds. I lost about 14 pounds in about a month with a heavy cardio workout coupled with watching what i ate. Now im trying to put back on muscle so right now im about 166 but looking alot better. My ideal is about 175 but less fat.

I go 5 days a week. and combine that with my cardio of ice hockey 3x a week and try to eat healthy.... i rarely eat fried foods or chocolate.
beer is a def downfall, but i keep it to mostly fridays and saturdays. ill drink jack in place of beer if its available.
I am sitting at a pretty solid 212 right now... wish i could cut a little more, but all my friends lift to bulk and i lift with them... oh well, shit happens
why lift weights......
They're heavy!
Eat right, work out, still die.
I saw that quote on a t-shirt once. Seriously though, I have been involved in working out and bodybuilding for the last 10 years or so. I know a thing or two about diets/nutrition and strength training. Any of you guys or gals can PM and I'll be glad to help you out with any questions you may have about working out or nutrition.
Also, for you guys interested in bodybuilding. There is a pretty big bodybuilding and Pro Fitness and Figure competition in Pittsburgh every year at Soldier's and Sailer's Hall in Oakland. I think it's May 5th this year. The size of the Pro bodybuilder's that are there will blow your mind. It's usually around $25 to attend and you will get loads of free supplements. Really a cool experience.
I wish I had the time to work out... I'm 205 lbs, and at 6'2 or 6'3, i'm totally fine with that "number" but i wish i were in better shape... When i used to work outside, i could eat/drink whatever i want, and never went a pound over 190... Between working on my toys and studying for my professional exams (which take up EVERY SINGLE ****ING SPARE MOMENT I HAVE) i never get the time to exercise... My biggest issue is pop. I stopped drinking pop a year ago, and in 2 weeks lost 10 lbs, without doing any exercise at all... but i everytime i start cramming for these damn exams, i go right back to it - Mt. Dew is my "beer" as far as relieving stress... I do plan on getting back in shape this summer tho.... (may 17 is my exam). I'm not naieve enough to think that i could find the time before then.

Most people talk about numbers and weight. The one thing I've learned, and that everyone should know is that the number on that scale doesn't mean a hill of beans. Take a look in the mirror. Use the mirror as your scale. Everyone's body is made up differently. Numbers/weights look different on everone. I'm 6'-2" and weigh 250lbs. I have a 34" and anyone who knows me can tell you that I am not fat. By the government standard for Body Mass Index(BMI) I am considered obese. The next time you evaluate yourselves, take a look in the mirror and be honest with yourself. That number on the scale is just that...a number. If you're happy with the way you look and you're healthy, does that number really mean anything?![]()
5'10 175 lbs
Nearly every day when I wake up it goes like this in order...
Max out shoulder exercises with 5 lb weights
Biceps/triceps with 20 or 30 lb weights (depending on how I feel)
Run
Max pushups
Max sittups
Basically I do that and look good even though I eat total crap. I have no checklist or numbers, I just sort of do those until I feel spent. I quit going to the gym after two years because big muscles are only good for short periods of time. The larger muscle mass you have the more oxygen they'll need, I'm looking for endurance not stregnth. The whole finding time, getting ready, having "on" and "off" days, and travelling to a gym thing made me dislike the process.
This summer I'm buying a nice military rucksack and doing a once a week workout that prospective green beret recruits do (no I'm not trying to be a green beret). You fill the backpack with 30-50 lbs and just walk for hours. It conditions your legs, back, and feet for covering large amounts of distance. The real exercise calls for 55 lb ruck, 10k distance, 3 times a week while wearing standard issue boots...but I'm not that hardcore.

My friend won the Mr.pitts 2 years in a row. Its a great show alot of the top pros are there. I saw ronnie coleman there about 4 years ago all I can say is WOW!!! I am a strength and fitness coach at a high school, I have been in to working out for about 16 years. I am 5'10 230 at about 12% body fat.
i was taking noxpolde for a bit. worked pretty good
if you're working out regularly defintaly take protein...in my opinion, optimum nutrition whey protein is the best. If you want to build muscle also try creatine...i think that cell-tech is the best choice for that. There are many other things like nitric oxide but they're just a waste of money in my opinion..all nitric oxide does is get your blood flowing. I'd rather use an exercise bike or treadmil for a couple of minutes before working out than take nitric oxide.
