    New Car

Sorry to disappoint, but no its not a rustang....

I sold my twin turbo TA a few weeks ago - and i've had a my eye on a couple different cars since around September - so, when it sold, i was definitely ready to go after one of the ones i had my eye on... I was very specific on what i wanted, down to every last little detail, so I had to go pretty damn far to get it...

First two pics are from this past Friday, the day i picked it up.... the last several are from this fall, right before the previous owner put it up for sale...

That is sick Bish! What are the specs on it? That color is amazing, and those wheels look great against it.

The front lip makes me nervous when thinking about my experiences driving around this area lol.

it has a lot of mods, but nothing outrageous... 461rwhp on California 91 octane and a fairly conservative A/F... i'm sure it will make more power on 93 octane, but it surely can't be very much, so to me its not worth spending $400 on a retune that nets me 6 rwhp... i'll post the mods

the front lip is definitely something always on my mind, so i'm not sure what i'm going to do with it... the car is on Pfadt coilovers, so it can be raised up a bit if i want to.... no exaggeration, a 2x4 hardly fits under the front bumper, so there's only like 2-3" of clearance

Anytime man... obviously it got pretty filthy on the ride home, and I've been too busy the last two nights to get it washed up.. so i'll be around the rest of the week getting her shined up....

Thats a great build. Glad to see the Z06 rear. The '05's had some issues with that and the dead battery syndrome.

that issue has been fixed.... the previous owner went through and well documented the fixing of all the common '05 model year problems, including faulty door actuators, fuel sending units, etc...

The interior mods are very subtle, but if you ask me, they make a world of difference - makes the interior seem so much nicer than the factory

And the cam specs didn't sound all that huge to me for a LS2, but to my surprise, its extremely lopey - sounds bada$$ ... it makes great torque all throughout the RPM range, and the max hp is at the point where they cut off the tune (6600 rpm), so it continues to make more and more power right up until you shift...

Thats actually pretty healthy cam for an LS2. How is the drivability. Mine is a 114lsa and it drives pretty good with hardly any surging.
