Can't decide on front wheels. What do you think?

I have already decided on what I want for the rears, 15x10 Weld RTS (black) with 325/50/15 MT ET Streets. I can't decide what I want for fronts:

WELD 17" RTS, 18" RTS, or 17" ALUMNASTARS.

I think the Weld RTS in 18x4.5 would look sick on the front and match the back, but they are $600 per wheel.

The 17" Alumnastar 2.0s look awesome, but they are kind of expensive and not an exact match to the RTS wheels. Not really a big deal to me since even the rear Alumnastars don't match them perfectly haha.

Weld RTS 17x4.5 would be the cheapest option but probably the most normal looking one too

    17" RTS - $470 each wheel

    18" RTS - $600 each wheel

    17" Alumnastar 2.0 - $572 each wheel

This silver Cobra has the exact setup I'd be running if I got these wheels. -

my 15" ship out today I'll post pics once I get them. It will be front only since I dont have the SRA in my car yet and I'm not going to grind my IRS to fit the back ones

Seems like a good deal, not sure if you'd want 15x8 or 15x10s though.

Are the fronts 15x4.075, 1.5" backspacing with medium pads, part number 71MB-504A15A? That is what Competition had on his 01 Cobra and he said they fit.

Yea thats what I got I have seen they fit and that they don't I think your pads have to be half worn for it to clear.... looks like used pads or me.

Yeah if thats true then you should be able to run about a 1/4" spacer until your pads are worn down right? Then take it off when there is enough clearance.

Have you looked into the dark stars at all Nate? I think they would look awesome on your car. They are pretty new and i couldn't find a picture of a 99-04 mustang but heres a newer one.

Nah Mike I'm not really a fan of Race Stars, actually I hate them hahaha. They look alright on this car though, this is a pretty good deal if you want a full set for your car.

After seeing some responses about the strength of the Alumastars, I decided not to get them. I really love how they look but looking at this pic makes me scared to run them on the street. I don't really want a front wheel to break while doing a high speed run on the parkway.

If this setup was just for the track then I would go with them for sure.

There is always a reason why they put "track use only" on products.
