    2004 Cobra project

Hey guys, just wanted to shed a little light on my recent project and ask for suggestions of future mods. My car started life as a comp orange 2004 40th anniversary 5speed mustang GT. It all started with a 2004 cobra engine swap. Bought a engine, trans, wiring harness, computer, driveshaft, fuel tank/pumps....well everything but the cars body, interior, and irs.....from AMP performance of Phoenix Arizona. They purchased a wrecked 2004 cobra with 43k miles and offered all the goodies up for sale. Well 2 years after i got the car it now sits in the garage with these mods....Maximum motorsports lower control arms, FRPP upper control arms, H&R race springs, Bilstein shocks and struts, QA1 tubular crossmember, 8.8 solid axle with 31 spline axles, 3.73 FRPP ring and pinion, Auburn differential, FRPP Cobra brake upgrade front and rear, Pypes brand catless x pipe, flowmaster cat-back, Moroso rad overflow and intercooler tank, JLT fenderwell cold air, 2.9 whipple with a 3.50 pulley, egr delete, boost bypass delete, three 100mm and one 93mm idlers, Fluidyne heat exchanger, 100mm Accufab throttle body, 95mm Pro-M maf, 80lb FRPP injectors, Division X fuel rails and twin fuel pump hat, Two 340lph intank pumps, Aeromotive 1:1 ratio fuel pressure regulator and 10 micron filter, -10 feed and -8 return lines converted to return sytle fuel system. Then i got all the body parts from wrecked cobras all over the country. Seats from North Carolina, One mirror from Arizona and the other from Georgia, rear spoiler from another yard in Georgia, bumpers from a yard in Texas, hood from Ohio, rockers from a Ford dealer in Arizona. This has been my non stop project for the last two years and is far from being finished!! Please reply with any feedback and suggestions!!! Will post more pictures when i can get them uploaded.

I wish i had taken more pictures of my stangs 2 year rebirth but hidesight is always 20/20. Its a exact match of a 2004 cobra minus the irs, driver airbag that says cobra, and a vin that states its a cobra.

I don't have any pics of the side scoops but they are different than GT's and v6's. The book Iron Fist Lead Foot tells that the the side scoops on the 03/04 Cobra is the only body piece on the car that actually has the word "Terminator" on it. Supposedly if you remove the insert you will see the writing there. I cannot verify this though I never removed mine.

The scoops themselves are the same, its the insert that is different. The cobra insert has vertical grooves instead of the gt honeycomb.

Oh yeah, the car looks really good too

Hmmm....did not know that....owell im sure its not the money that people want for them anyways....still have yet to start it with the new whipple...gotta put on the hood and new MAF, then get a handheld with a base tune and strap it to a dyno. Speaking of dynos, who and where is good around the Pittsburgh, Akron, Columbus area? Been reading up on WolfPack speed on here but does he do his own tuning or would i have to contact somebody else?

I've heard nothing but great things about Mike at Wolfpack. I think John Lund does his tuning?
