that place just got outta control. towards the end we were on the side of the road and these three girls came walking across the road during a race...damn girls almost got plowed over. they were soo pissed and started screaming in the direction of the cars. im thinking...why are you even down here?? when i started going there i was told you come to race...thats it.

i was actually the last car to race b4 the night of the big bust. oooopps.

I never got to race down there, but it seems like they keep the road shitty on purpose now. I've been down there a few times recently and it definitely doesn't seem like a road I'd wanna be doing 100+ on. Other than that it does seem like it would have been a good street racing location.

Oh yea, I remember that place very well.. I even raced down there a couple of times when I had my Grand Natoinal .. I was lucky enough to never get busted. I wondered if they were still racing down there.

About 10 years ago it was in great shape. The dip wasnt bad at all. Now it is $hit and the dip is crazy. There were so many cars that went down there are one point in time. The cops have been down there a ton. I miss those sunday nights!

for awhile i was the flagger. it was insane. car after car after car.

still one of the best sleepers i seen was this 4 door shoebox chevy vs this brown stingray vette from crivellis in hte rox. the shoebox didnt even have a altenator. came off trailer smoked the shit out of the vette parked it and left

then remember some toolbag in a red hatch LX with steeda on windshield that raced a 87 rosewood Turbo T for money and lost and never paid up...dude got his ass handed to him

That rubber was mine and a buddy of mine. I guess we were the true last cars to run there. I was in the right lane and he was the left.

Sundays at crafton...ahh the memorys. I used to go eveery week.
Green and silver 92GT. My buddy had a harliquin colored GTA.
All you needed to kick ass there was a little traction.

I remember "the silver LX" i think his name was Kurt. He would get his ass kicked then go to the other parking lot and bolt on the slicks and clean up.
    Here's some other memorys

Yellow 85 camaro, owned by the son of the guy who invented "the bom" cleaner.

    Mauros silver RX-7

70 buick stage III with a nasty "motorworks" 455 in it.

My memory isnt that good there are probably lots more.

hehehe.. I went there all the time since I lived in Kennedy.

Remember Donny in the yellow 69 Z28? Tim in the black Stingray Vette? The primered 74 Pontiac Ventura? Brunos Transmissions Ford EXP big block race car in street clothing? All those cars were fast and raced there a lot as well.

I used to race my 71 Lemans Sport, 87 GN, 89 Vette, 88 Mustang GT, 90 LX 5.0, and more.

One time I was getting ready to race my Pontiac against my buddies Road Runner and the cops came up behind us on the starting line and lit us up. We just told them we were talking. We were just getting ready to do burnouts! Wow that was close.

I used to bring the scanner and my buddy a Pgh cop used to give me the private freqs so we could hear them coming to get us and we left. It was such a cat and mouse game. lol

Dave King had a 90-91 ish GT and flipped it on the big end going over the guard rail. That dip was a BITCH for a fast car. I was there that night as well.

Oh the stories I could tell..

Dont forget going to Dinda's resturant till the heat died down. Oh and going to "super shops" on 22 in Monroeville for some goodies. OMG how long ago was that?

Saw an RX7 silver (I think it was called a Peter Farell super car) blew the doors of a Hemi Cuda one time down there. I was floored when I saw that.
I think that RX7 blew flames out the exhaust. It was the shit!:D
