    A/C help

    There is something wrong with my ac system and im not a/c guru to be honest does anyone Know a good mechanic that will find the problem and either fix it cheap or tell me what to replace to get it running agian
    95GT bone stock 5.0 with ram clutch and billet steel flywheel, 8.8 with rebuilt clutches and 3.73's, sve wieht jacker lower arms, new busihings, new brake hoses, new brake lines, strange enginiering shocks and struts, 255lph fuel pump, mac stain less exhust, all undercoated with por-15 and eliminated every spec of rust from firewall to tail pipe

    now its time to crack into the motor portion of the build and try to crank out some power worth talking about

    Try adding freon to the system or does the compressor not kick on?

    yes but it would be nice to have it the rest of the summer instead of buring up like last summer

    If you added R134 and the compressor is still not kicking on, check all fuses first. If all good, jumper the low pressure switch. This will cause the compressor to kick on like normal but it won't cycle properly. It should point to a bad pressure switch, just like I have. Don't continue to run the system in the manner though, fix it correctly.

    i have repalced my whole a/c system in my 94 first jump the low pressure switch unplug the ac compressor dont run the compressor without a charge i will ruin it check for 12v at the compressor plug if its there your clutch could be bad
