I thought there were black chrome FR's to begin with on the car?

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

Nah, it had hypercoated FR500's. They looked pretty good, but weren't exactly what I wanted. I don't really like the color of the car so I figured it might as well have the wheels that I want, lol.

Figured I'd update this thread a little bit. Been driving the car some lately. Some of you may have seen it at Wexford. Unfortunately it's not completely tuned yet. I've been chasing a few tuning gremlins.

Had it on Mike's dyno a few weeks ago only to find out it was only firing on 7 cylinders. Finally tracked that down to a clogged injector on the #5 cylinder. The car definitely feels stronger now that it's firing on all 8... go figure.

Even after I got that figured out there's still some fueling issues. My tuner was having a hell of a time getting my pumps to work correctly in a returnless setup. I was having nasty fuel spikes between shifts while accelerating hard and under a few other circumstances. We've tried a few different things to get it working correctly, but it doesn't look like it's going to work out so I've decided to switch it to a return style fuel system. I've already got most of the necessary components on the car anyways. Just need to buy an adapter fitting for the stock rails then a regulator and a return line. Hopefully I can have it back on the dyno for the 93 tune within the next few weeks then the E85 tune shortly after.

Which reminds me, have you found the 2 injectors you need? I haven't had any bites on the threads I posted but I can bump them if need be.

No, I was wondering if you heard anything. I might post something up on SVTP too just to see if anyone has a couple laying around. I'm not sure if I really need them or not, but I'd feel a little better if i could replace the one that was clogged. So far I've probably only pushed it to about 60-70% of it's max flow rate so I'm not sure I'd know right now. I'm hoping it's not still partially clogged, but I'd hate to find out the hard way when I'm hammering it on E85 and that cylinder runs lean, lol.
