I like the stone interior also Kevin. Any vintage Mustang with a dark color and light interior really turns heads at the shows - much more than cars with black interiors, which were very common. One of my favorite cars EVER was a '67 GT500 owned by a local guy - car was Brittany Blue ( a light metallic silverish-blue ) with parchment interior ( similar to this "stone" color ). Gorgeous combination.

I still like black interiors, but with certain exterior colors a light interior color can really come off nicely.

I know. I still don't know what to do. I am going to test drive one next weekend and bring my kids. I need to see how well the fit in the back. That is a huge deciding factor. It seems that my 2000 has more leg room in the back.

I've had both, they felt about the same to me.

Did you have to put kids in the back? I am just curious because when I didn't have kids, I paid no attention to the back seat at all. My, how times have changed!

I can fit kids in the back ok, it's still tight unless you sit against the steering wheel.

No kids, but I have put full sized adults back there and they hated every moment.

You will hate it unless you only put a jacket in the back seat. The back seat is totally useless besides considering the car a "4 Passenger Vehicle" instead of a 2 for insurance reasons.
