    5.0 f150

I am thinking I should have got the 5.0 because the ecoboost is really not so eco!!

Check out what light weight ones are running with a few mods!

What kind of MPG's are you getting? 550 miles so far on the 5.0 and it's sitting at a nice 12.9.

Add blower and times become that of a Lightning (with an equivalent blower). It's certainly impressive but I'm not surprised.

I'm coming up on 8k miles on my 5.0 FX4. Haven't reset Trip B since new in July and it shows 16.0 mpg average. I've averaged 20-21 mpg on trips to Erie and the Poconos and pretty regularly get 16-16.1 mpg driving to and from West Mifflin every day.

Im getting 11.3 mpg on my 5.0 F150 but I do pull a trailer with it 6 days a wk.

Oh yeah, I also waxed a 2010 Ram 1500, hemi's ass last wk. from a red light. He got me out of the hole but by 60 I was even with him and at 90 I was a truck and a half ahead of him.

a lot of people don't understand that fuel mileage is all in how your driving habits are. when "they" do their tests, they drive the vehicle as easy as they can so that they get high numbers. if you drive it harder then them its not gonna get the numbers that they claim. i know of a few ecoboosts that average 20+ :two cents:

Most of our driving so far has been short trips. Only been on the highway twice since we picked it up. I do turn that gas mileage game on the display off, the only way I can get the green bar to go high is coast downhill. It is what it is and that's that.

1800 miles and my overall average is 14mpg. I do mostly local driving. The powerstroke driven the exact same way averaged 16 mpg with the stock tires and 14.5 with the 35" trail grapplers. The powerstroke got better milage for sure!
