Patriot heads

I was looking on american muscle and saw that the heads for the 01-04s are considerably cheaper that those for the 96-98s.
So my questions are; Is there a reason the patriot heads http://www.americanmuscle.com/patrio...104-romeo.html are about 800 less than the TF heads? http://www.americanmuscle.com/trickf...cc-9604gt.html
Is it because its a better quality product or what? and will the 01-04 heads "bolt on" to my 97s engine? Sorry if these questions sound stupid but i dont know a whole lot when it comes to engine building. Also, are there better options besides patriot and twisted wedge that would be cost effective?

If I were you, I would just look into a set of PI heads from a newer 2v and rebuild and do a little port/polish work maybe? Save some cash and learn how they go together without having to worry about a $1400 investment into heads.

To answer one question though, all 4.6 2v heads will fit on any 2v mod block from 96-04.

x2 I heard the PI heads with some port/polish flow as good if not better then a lot of others

The trick flows are a completely new head, cast by trick flow, the patriots are just ported PI heads.

As of late, the patriot site has been down due to the owner screwing a racer chick and getting a divorce from his smokin hot wife, Whitney. Haha. Suckers, they never learn.
