I had a 98, two 03's, and a 08. Worked as a salesman for a ford dealership during that time so I have drove and sold them. My thoughts as I remember them are that gears have to be the first mod, because the motor is torqueless below 4000 rpm. They drive and handle nice, but lowering springs are mandatory because the ride height is super tall. I seem to remember the 99 had pretty weak halfshafts, the 01's better, and the 03-04 better yet. Overall nice cars, I've been tempted to buy one on occasion because the prices are getting close to GT's on some of them.
