Question Blue '04 GT s/c on ebay

Is this Vortec a decent s/c? Is this a SCS member's car?

Obviously, there's no intercooler. As far as bottom-end safety, do you need an intercooler with a centrifugal s/c? I know a lower intake temp would make more power, but as long as the a/f is around 12:1 or lower, would you guys be afraid of this thing with the miles?

Is that the square piece that I've seen in between the s/c and t/b? How exactly does an aftercooler work? Do you run a rad hose through it or what?

why? if the a/f is good, why (other than power) do the cooler?

guy told me he bought it in Georgia last April and he's only put 1,000 miles on since. has another car, job and goes to school. no time to drive. All mods were done.

If it was tuned by Modular Powerhouse, I would have no problems with it at all.

Very nice ride, wonder what the reserve is? I would say it's worth at least a few k more than it's at now.
