Helmet is required if you're 13.99 or quicker in the 1/4. Just my 2 cents, I think it's worth wearing one 15s and quicker. That's still 80mph+ should something bad happen.

i will also be racing opening day and i know i need a helmet i got yelled at last year at the ghost goblins and gearheads race because i ran a 13.2 so when i went up for the next round they said i needed one but still let me race the rest of the event

At the racers meeting Sunday they said they are planning on doing something with the dirt/gravel road at the entrance but they will definitely be opening the old/front gate on Thursdays only for steet cars/motorcycles only driven in to avoid the stones.

i was wondering did they add any more pit space or even pave more road i hate parking in the grass on big race events. for example last year at nitro jam i had to park in the grass then i go get in line to make my pass and have to clean the underneath of my car in the staging lanes

We are still running the Pine Wood Derby, for my daughter. She came in second so far! Racing is in the blood!

Welp my first 1/4mile pass EVER in my uncle's bone stock Challenger I broke into the PRP 100mph club with a 14.0 pass and then follow'd that up breakin into the 13s with a 13.94 at a 100mph! Ohh yeeahh!!!!

No "Puffy Stickers", but was damn fast. She finished 2nd place for the Brownies, and 3rd overerall in the finals. Oh yeah, and she decided to keep the car for a while, it'll be a garage queen. Heck she has already had the car for like 3 mos., that would be new record in your house!:p
