Need someone to assemble some teflon braided lines

Ok, so I am converting my power steering lines to braided stainless because the stock lines were not clearing with other things I'm doing to the car. Unfortunately, the line pressures for the power steering system require the use of teflon lined braided stainless. I have ruined two expensive fittings already trying to assemble these damn things, and my patience has run out. I need someone who has some experience with assembling these, regular AN fittings/braided lines are no problem for me but this teflon crap is annoying as hell.

I will have the lines cut to the length I need and show you which fittings go on which lines, I will just need you to assemble them for me to preserve what is left of my sanity. We can negotiate payment, I'm just done wasting my time with this. I'd prefer someone in the local Pittsburgh area so I can just run them out to you and get it done. Let me know if anyone can help me out

Ha. I messed around with this last winter. What a pita. After ruining a few fittings and 3feet of line, it finally worked.

Did you buy power steering fittings? I tried using regular -6 AN fittings at first, and that didnt work at all.

I had to sort of make my own fitting to connect to the pump. I used the method this guy used on corral:

Armed with an assortment of metric O-rings, 1/2" washers, a unibit, and a metric adapter fitting.


I came up with this........you can see the "crush" of the o-ring after a test run.


She better seal.


Building the Earl's Speed-Flex teflon -6an was not that bad. Here is the pressure line assembled and test fitted.


Looks much better than the stock set up and hopefully no leaks.

Somethingclever, I may go that route, I was hoping someone on here would be able to do it, because I have a feeling a hydraulic shop would scratch all the anodizing off these fittings.
