I don't think just because he left he's screwed.

Putting the wheels and tires in your car and leaving doesn't equal signing a waiver of claims against the store for their piss-poor work.
Wick is right its the tire spoon making that mark I've done it before on my deep dish wheels for my old vw

I walked in and set the tire in front of the owner and he looked at it and said "Wow, I owe you a new wheel." haha He wasn't happy that the tire guys gave me a wheel like that. I showed him my receipt for the wheels and he got on the phone and ordered me a new one. Glad the owner is a good guy and took care of it.

Is the wheel useable enough for it to be a spare just in case? Or is it a total loss?

Glad to hear they took care of you Nate! The exact same thing happened to me at a tire shop in Export. The shop in Export handled the situation the same which is all you can ask for. As far as the individual that mounted the tire, if he worked for me he would be unemployed right now. There is absolutely no excuse to send that wheel out like that. I understand stuff happens but there is no way the installer or someone did not notice the damage....unacceptable IMO.

Yea that looks amazing. Should have ample traction now too!

On another note, what are you going to do with the damaged wheel?

Wow - your car looks like a jungle cat ready to pounce! Ok - I guess I've been watching too much Lion King lately... Still - that stance is absolutely killer!

It is great to hear the owner treated you right. So can you keep the spare for a...uh...spare??

I love the car, but I'm just not a fan of the look of the wheels in such drastic size changes... but definitely different and clean car.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump
