Any local T56 rebuilders you trust?

I am picking up an '01 Z06 either this weekend or next that is in need of a transmission rebuild. The trans grinds 2nd and 4th, which leads me to believe the shift forks are likely bent, at this point it might need blocker rings, etc. Doesn't pop out of any gear so I doubt any gears will need replaced, although you never know.

I have rebuilt a few T5s, basically taking a few junk ones together to get a decent one, but I would rather leave this one to a pro. Planning on pulling the trans out and taking it somewhere. Looking online it seems to be pretty standard that 1K for a brand new rebuild with core is the going rate.

So does anyone know of anybody local that rebuilds these? Has to be a fairly quick turnaround, as I can get one of the mailorders in 3 days for a grand.

I am sure they would, but I think they will be pretty pricey. Just seeing if there are any guys "moonlighting" out there that need some extra cash. I might just buy a decent used box and sell this one for a few hundred needing a rebuild. Just worried I would be in the same boat with the replacement box.
