unfortunatly i have no scanner or digital camera right now i wanna pick one up an put pics on here to see what you guys think my car is a 2001 mustang gt black, it has the following mods:17x9.5 black fr500 rims, eibach sportline springs, bbk bumpsteer kit, bbk grippcamber plates, clear corner headlights, black gen3 taillights, red bumper inserts,saleen281 spoiler, 03-04 cobra front w/fogs, 1970's boss 429 hood scoopmolded in, 20%tint all around, 4 point rollbar, b an m hammer shifter(auto/rachet shifter), mac intake, accufab 75mm tb plenium, bbk ud pullies, sct2 programmer,frpp4.10gearsw/ bearing kit, 1inch intake spacer, 90mm lightning maf, ford racing shorty headers, magnaflow xpipe with cats, slp loudmouth exhaust, right now car is in shop getting crower stg 2 cams with a (diffrent spring kit then patriot cuz patriot blew my motor due to a snapped defective valve spring) so new spring kit from crower, and then all new forged internals, heads ported, oh an 100 shot of nitrous or something like that.

if you read car craft magazine at all its in the readers section in the april issue, the front cover is like a paint job on a blue car forget the car.

but thats my car what do you guys think i know its hard to not see a picture an judge but i wash it almost 3 times a week so its always shinin lol:D

It sounds good, but without pictures its impossible to say. As the saying goes, a picture speaks a thousand words. Magazine editors look for a car that "pops" in pictures, and unfortunately black is one color that doesn't. Its not to say that since its black it won't be featured, but it may have some impact. I've had my car in featured in 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords as well as Mustang Enthusiast. As Troy mentioned, the best way to get noticed is to attend some large events like FFW/NMRA/Carlisle All Ford Nationals. It also helps to send pics into the readers rides sections of the magazines too. My car was first shown in the readers rides section of 5.0 and then it was shot for a feature when I changed a few things, namely my wheels. Overall execution and attention to detail are what will get you noticed. Find a nitch and go with it. Mine was getting the car to look somewhat like show car and still put up better than expected numbers at the drag strip. Post pics once you get the digital camera.
