New wheels.....

These are real OEM 2000 Cobra R wheels. When I got them thet were in horrible shape. Every lip was curbed and 2 were covered in rust. And I don't mean a lil rust. One was completely covered, inside and out. It was almost a 1/4" thick on the inside. Well I took them to a buddy to sandblast them for me. Once they were bare metal, I sat down and sanded and formed the lips back to something respectable. Then they went off to another buddy and had them powder coated. I'm very happy how they turned out.



These will be my track wheels with sticky tires and I will also run them in the Rally Dixie 2012 that I'm participating in this summer.

Not sure if i like them. Did a nice job on them thou. Maybe i'll like them better when i see them on the car. I think they would have looked awesome gloss black.

Yes I got real lucky......found a set never used still sealed up. Got them for $125 shipped.......they are $65 a piece now for replicas. Way too expensive for a center cap.

Ummm NO! LOL. I have a 99-01 cobra front bumper because of the bigger opening for my heat exchanger. I love the R spoiler but it only looks good in red and belongs on a real R.

I do however have a terminator hood on the car. It like every body part on the car is OEM(incud ing the front bumper and terminator mirrors). I bought it with a hole thru the body line after the previous owner wrecked his car. Fixed the whole and a new coat of paint and I have a real Ford hood for under $400 including paint!
