First passes of 2012 :D ... mostly shakedown on the new combo, nice easy shakedown pass ...

2nd pass the line lock failed so the burn out sucked and it rolled on the line ... not sure how much ET it lost taking that big of a bite, but I love the MPH :D

I was going to try the next pass on my radials, Frank I got them changed, then the rain came ... Need more gear, I can't give it any more RPM :D

That MPH should get you around 11.50.

Dan - I just need to get my 60' back. I'm typically 1.5x, best today was 1.66. Still dialing it in.

Troy - that's an interesting idea, I never thought of that.

I guess you wasn't there for the problem solving flow chart, ask Koala Joe how that works

Did you add more gear or more boost at the line to fix the bog issue?

I haven't done anything yet.

I'm not convinced the gear will actually solve the "problem". I think it might just move it out further. I have a list of things to try at the next test. I have some room in cam timing (advance it). I need to log the event and see if I can punch more timing in the affected area too. Several Tweens might get me through it before trying gear.

That's what I was hoping would happen where I was Troy, but yes, I typically have my stuff set up to turn some on the hit. If you watch the videos I got some of that but not enough. I wish I could get more mass in the bell housing but I'm maxed out there without Mallory (lol).

Keep in mind it will race where it is, I just know its leaving some on the table.

The next hit was going to be on my radials ;)

I'm also going to play with the launch control settings. Lots of levers left to try.

Don't fear the gear!

Lol, I am not afraid of it, I just think it has more downside than upside for me. I need to get into boost, and the mechanical advantage of the gear isn't going to help that. One more test and tune to try this other stuff and then gear is next.
