    Turnpike... get a receipt

I guess the mother ****ing turn pike isn't collecting enough fares so now there going to accuse people of blowing through the easy pass lane.

On March 20th I went out to New Stanton to meet some people that bought some stuff from me, today I get a letter from Easy Pass that I ran through the easy pass lane without paying and was fined $52.75... I have never once tried to run through without paying, how the hell can I prove I paid since I didn't get a receipt? Even if I had got a receipt it's been a month, I'd have probablt tossed it by now. What a bunch of flaming dickheads!

Is you palte resgistered with your EZ Pass? Did they record you getting on the Turnpike?

I got one once for a "no read", contacted them and they just deducted the real fare from my accout.

Don't get me started on the time they grabbed me as "Class 3" when paying the PA entrance tax at the Ohio line (coming from QCR) ... They got me getting on, through Cranberry, getting off, then later at Cranberry and getting off as class 2 (my truck with trailer) but mysteriously I was "heavy" at the highest toll known to man.

I used to go out all the time and pay the toll to go to Cal U. It's unreal how much money I spent for a two minute drive. It went from 95 cents to s dollar to I thinks it's a 1.05 now?

I don't have an easy pass... I didn't run through the easy pass lane and I paid the toll at the booth. There is a pic of the back end of my car but you can't tell what lane I'm in.

I'm 100% sure I stop and paid the toll

I can't believe those idiots don't put some sort of markings on the lanes so the cameras can tell which lane a photo comes from. Unfnreal...

Yeah dude that fare is outrageous coming back in to PA. But if you think that shit is bad you should try going to NYC with a 4 door long bed truck and car trailer with a 55 Caddy on it. Just to get across G.W. bridge was $32

They sent me a ticket once with a picture of a trailer - same plate - different state.

Had to waste a morning fighting it at court, pain in the ass.

The funny thing, is it said 1991 Ford Mustang, with a freakin picture of a trailer!

At least it was local - 66 in Greensburg, if it would have been Philly or far, I would have just had to pay the $50.

    Automated big brother BS!

Send it back with an explanation written on the back of the photo. I was daydreaming and pulled up to the easypass lane in Monroeville yrs ago. Didn't have easypass and couldn't back up, they told me to wait for the ticket in the mail. Keep my fare ticket and mail it all back. Mailed it in and never heard a peep back.

Was this one of those unmanned booths where you got to wait for the green light?

Yea my dad is a truck driver and he tries to avoid NYC like the plague, it's like $60 for a semi-truck.
