I got on the pike accidentally one time while riding with some buddies. Turned out none of us had change so we just slowed down and ran the booth. When I got the ticket in the mail I called and told them what happened, gave them my debit card number, and they charged me the 1.15 for the fare.

I remember one time by philly I was coming down the NE extension. I went through the east only booths instead of the west only to head to pitt. I went up one exit hit a U and headed toward pitt. Just because I got my ticket at an eastbound only entrance my ticket was considered "invalid" and i got charged maximum fare as if I had lost my ticket.
I did quite a few jaunts via route 30 and picked it up at 189 until I made up the difference. F them.
