NMRA at MIR

Anyone planning to go to the NMRA race at MIR?

May 4-6, 2012 - Maryland Int'l Raceway - Mechanicsville, Maryland

I hope to test one more time this weekend (weather looks iffy). Unfortunately I have to go out of town for work over the following weekend, so I'm getting close to a final Decission.

Unless something breaks this weekend, it looks like I'm going to attempt it.

Likely a good 5.5 hours. I got the MIR area several times a year to hunt and fish. My best friend lives 15 minutes from the track. I'd go this year but I'm teaching some classes that weekend near Hershey.

I made reservation with the intent to drive down Friday AM. The plan would to try and test Friday afternoon, then True Street on Saturday.

Still to be seen what happens this weekend and what the weather looks like, but the plan is to go. Looking forward to raing there.

FWIW, we have a hotel reservation and am still planning to go to this. If anyone is going and wants to caravan or meet up, message me or Post up.

As mentioned above, we plan to roll out early Friday am.

Scary thing is, the long range weather looks good.

We are here, if anyone is coming we are pitted on the far end of the true street area.

Got 6 passes in today. VERY happy with where I've got the car dialed in. We will see how tomorrow goes :)
