It was pathetic how long that took. In 7 hours we got the same amount of runs that you would get at a 4 hour test and tune.

Took 7-8 staff members to clean up an oil down that one guy at MIR can do in half the time. At least they went an hour later than planned after that timing issue

If that would have taken that long at MIR Jason Miller would have been on the track firing employees by the handful and taking care of it himself. It was embarrassing.

I agree, the clean up took way too long. One thing I noticed is the since they started using the track scrubber to clean oil spills rather then the old way of putting down oil dry it seems to take much longer. Plus I saw that they had to refill the scubber with detergant twice and each time it took 20min so that was a total of 40min just in refilling the scrubber.

I also asked the same question as to why the timing system wasnt tested prior to starting.

Good day! Well other than the hour and a half to clean up that mess.
    Damn good times there, congrats.

When I was up there a couple weeks ago I watched 6 guys stand around staring at a 2700 pound VW that rolled to the return road. After about 20 minutes of this, someone FINALLY pushed it to the side. This after god knows how long they took to look at the track after the green Challenger gingerly tapped the guardrail. Don't get it.

I ran my uncle's bone stock street tire'd Challenger R/T again. I had a 1.95 60ft n went 13.44 @ 104.3mph! Its not that fast but it was my fastest 1/4mile pass to date, ohhh yeaahhhh!!!! Here's the pass it's vs 10kona6er. We race't to see who could get the better reaction time. I went .107 to his .109! So disorganized. We saw a scooter or quad come all the way down the track to return with a tool or a jug 5 minutes later multiple times. Looked like a penndot road crew down there. Shows why PRP will always be a minor league track. $30 for 3 runs.. I didn't wait around for the last one, I didn't have the patience to get stuck in the lanes till 8pm if someone spilled their water on the track. It was the first time in 1.5 years I was there and it will be the last for a long time.

I agree with the clean up takin a good while n all which suck't. But I mean come on give'em a break it was pretty much the first day since last year. Ya gotta work the bugs out especially with what looks like a newer different crew.

That might be understandable if this hasn't been going on for years.

Work the bugs out with training and finding decent track crew to begin with. No one in the lanes wanted to spend $30+ to be test subjects and help get a new crew up to speed, if there is a speed any faster then yesterday possible out there. Major league track TnT entry fee for crap.

The answer was that it was tested and it worked fine. Just like it was working fine prior to the second time it quiting working after the oil down.

I agree with the clean up taking too long though I dont know what or how much fluid or pieces of metal was put down and I doubt you do either. $30 dollars for 3 runs is your own fault for not staying. It was a 1/2 hour from my 3rd run to my 4th so its your loss and they were done a 6 like stated not 8pm. If you dont have the patience maybe you need to get some xanax and relax a little. You havent been there in 1.5 years and things have been great and others will tell you that and Im sure it will go back to being great after there hiccup yesterday.

The track is in New Alex, they dont have much to chose from for staff. And how exactly do you train staff to clean up and exploded engine and simulate that. Without the oil down and timing system the program ran fast.

I dont understand why the people that *itch about PRP just dont stay home and let the ones that enjoy it there to reep the benefits. Say I agree yesterday could have been better but that was one day. We will see you in a couple years
