Yes, cage worked exactly like it was supposed to, as did the rest of the safety equipment.
You can buy insurance for on the track, from specialty companies. I know on YB there is a guy named Bill Lutz in Ohio who sells it.

I was wondering the same thing. I have the paper from the racer meeting that states it will be open Thursdays only for street cars only. I would email Jamie Tedesco and ask him and voice the concerns of the guys driving their cars in.
