Updating thread title?

I updated a couple of my threads in "For Sale" because I wanted to reflect that something was *SOLD* or *PENDING* so people who are browsing don't waste their time. I went to advanced edit and changed them. It shows up in the title if you go into the thread, but not if you are looking at the list of threads.

Is this a change that needs time to propagate, or do I just not have the powers necessary?
