WTB: T3 turbo, open to options

    Price: depends on turbo

I posted this on the Focus forums, but thought I'd try here too.

I'm gathering parts for my next build. As with last time, I'm taking my time and gathering parts slowly. It's time for my little IHI/16T hybrid to go.
I'm very open to options for turbos but don't want anyone's junk either. I'm not particularly picky about bearing style.
The IHI is a strictly mid-range turbo. This time I want something large enough to breathe up to or past 7K rpm but not take a year to spool up.
    Minimum power goal is 300whp.
My car will never be a dyno queen so I'm not going for big bragging numbers. I want to keep it a fun street/strip car. It will never see cones.
For a reasonable spool time I'd prefer a .63 turbine housing. Sticking with a T3 style housing and external wastegate.
103mph in the 1/4 is about all I can get from this IHI. I'd like to get it into the teens with this build.

    Thanks!

It's no Mustang but I can't knock it either. It's been a good toy.

Will your halfshafts hold up to that kind of power / sticky tires ? Does the car have a limited slip / quaife? If not, how will you put any of that power down to both wheels?

Can't wait to hear how she runs after you're done.

Half shafts should be OK, as long as I'm not riding a 2-step building 25psi off the line.
I'll go with a Torsen LSD. Quaife and Kaaz also make LSDs for my car but much more pricey.
The MTX-75 was used in other cars like some Escorts and Contours.

Wow - it is going to be just plain SILLY how that light little car is going to pull when you're done.
