my wifes 01 6 cylinder stang is stalling with no rhyme or reason. ive changed the fuel filter and cleaned the plugs but no help. sometimes when she stops at a light it just stalls, and occasionally it dont start right away. anyone come across this before?

Sounds like a crank position sensor. Will it sometimes not restart or a while and then seem to be fine?
The Fuel pump relay and PCM (Main) relay can also cause this. Maybe a dirty throttle body too?
camshaft sensor is a possibility also.
