Red car reminds me of the R32 we straight drug in a roll race with an '01 2500hd Duramax. Cool little rides.

Love them old GTI's. Looks clean. I used to have 2 87 GTI 16v's. Things were a blast to drive.

Last VW I had was a two door Rabbit w/ a gas motor/three speed auto tranny combo. It was also geared very low. When going 65mph it sounded like you were going 100. Loved that little beater!

Nice little car! My college roommate's girlfriend's girlfriend ( who was damn cute by the way ) had one of those. Same color and everything. I got to drive it - quite hard I might add - in exchange for her getting to sample the big-block power of my ( Dad's ) '68 LTD with a 390 C6 with stainless duals and glasspacks. That little GTI was a nice runner! Gotta love far-fig-newton!!!!!! Good times!!!!

Nice! I actually saw it on 99 the other day heading north, as it passed me around 17th street I thought it was cool to see an old GTI.

Thanks guys. The car is so fun to drive around. We have fixed a couple problems already. My son paid for the car and parts for it.
