    Got a termi today

Picked up 2003 Redfire vert today. It was fun driving it home. Still getting used to it.

The top is parchment and the seats have the parchment suede inserts.

It has 17,800 miles and has some basic bolt-ons.

    Yeah, I am sure.
I have some 3.73's lying about that I may get installed.

Problem with this car is that it came with a little problem of a leaking pinion seal. I knew it when I bought it but I didn't want the guy at the little rinky-dink dealership to try to fix it. He said that the seal was "gear specific" and said that he was having a hard time getting a pinion seal for the 3.55 gears ;)

I am sure that he would not have pre-loaded the pinion correctly and my diff would have locked up on me on the way home.

This diff needs some TLC. Other than it leaking, it clunks a bit when starting out. I just ordered a heavy-duty diff cover/girdle for it. I was going to ask some guys here which parts, ideally, I would need to bolt onto this diff to make it behave. Is there some sort of magic list of IRS "must haves" that you know of?

I am not feeling the IRS love yet.

I dumped my IRS to go 9 inch for my project. That being said, if I wasnt going after the power that I am, the IRS would have stayed in along with the stage 2 shafts and the Full Tilt Boogie bushing would have been installed. I did alot of reading, and everything comes back to Full Tilt Boogie. Street Lethal Performance just did a thread on the install. Im sure they could help you with any questions that you may have. Got to love the 03s and 04s!
