No pics of car and 1st post on the forum. Nice!
Sorry for the lack of pictures. I am trying to sell the car for my Dad. I told him he would get much better response with pictures but he told me that everyone should know what a GT500 looks like. ; ) I am working on getting some pictures. A friend of his suggested that he post his car on this site.
You are going to need pictures, location, phone number etc....
This is a good place to start, but as was stated, you need to be more up front than the regulars need to be.
GLWS.

Sounds like a sweet condition car.
Pics are a must to be taken serious when your only newbie on a forum.
The car has been sold.
I still have not gotten photos but will post when my father sends me a few.
Keep an eye out for a possible new member with a very low mile red and white GT 500. This one has a cool interior with red inserts.
I will miss driving this car, it was a fun one.
Thanks for all the help here.
thanks for joining and good bye
It was a quick one but I am so glad I joined. What a wealth of information and such a warm and friendly group of chaps.
Seriously I do realize it is not great form to have first post to be a for sale ad but dang, rough crowd here. I also know it is hard to sell something without at least one picture as well. I will tell you this, I have seen many people join a forum with a sale of something and go on to become a great contribution to a forum.
Sorry to have caused so many problems by posting a for sale ad.
Here is a suggestion from the new guy... how about don’t let someone post a for sale until they have enough posts to be worthy of a for sale ad, say 100 posts? How about this also no for sale ads unless there is a picture. Come on guys advice to help someone sell something is great but no need to run someone around the bend.
I hope the guy that bought the car is treated well if he lands here.

Thank you for setting it straight, this is nice to hear coming from an admin.
I think some people just like to see their post count climb. I guess we all have to strive to be good at something.
I have a cobra kit car with a side oiler motor, would it be OK to post that here? I do have pictures of that one.
Less talk more pics.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump
well the gt 500 is gone but here is the cobra.

Here are the details. I have it posted on the cobra forum too.
1965 cobra replica (midstates now shell valley)
Blue with white stripes, 427 side oiler motor pro built less than 1,000 miles on built motor.
compmotive mag wheels, power steering, aluminum heads, original high rise heads avaliable, very clean inside and out. please contact with questions.
I would like to get 30K. I have been told the motor alone is worth quite a bit of change.
I will create it's own thread if this is a good place to post and it is not breaking the rules. Being that this is not a mustang I dont know how it will go over.
