Needing to throw some pads and rotors on my truck, and im trying to determine what "code" differential I have. Apparently every parts store asks the same question, so How would I figure this out just by looking at the diff or the truck in general? Any tags I should look for? Certain VIN Character, ect. ?
I know I can call Ford and give them the VIN to find the axle ratio, but they are closed today. Any help would be appreciated.
It's a 94 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4. Assuming it's the normal 3.55 but trying to find a little more info before I get started. Thanks for any input.
