Race Star wheels

Anyone here run them? If so how do you like them? I've about had it with the Welds.

Looking at getting a couple of their Dark Star wheels(black chrome coating) 15x3.75 and 15x10's

i think they changed the holes now, so they dont have that stupid uni lug pattern any more, i looked at a set at carlisle, i like them

I heard that about the lugnuts too. They are supposed to be alot easier to get the wheels on and off. If you order them make sure to ask what you are getting. Those old lugnut holes are what took those wheels off the table for me. They are nice looking wheels.

Was looking at part numbers they list. They are direct drilled wheels not unilug.

Just need to decide how I want to do this. Need tires too so may add 275/50 MT DR's and some front tires. Don't need a 28" tire for street anymore with the 4.10 gear in car now.

Ended up not getting the Darkstars. Got the polished version instead. Just didn't trust the finish to hold up so basically talked myself out of them. If I have to get a blemish on one it will be far easier to clean up and polish.

Got the 15x3.75 and 165/80-15 for up front. Have 4 of the 15x10's coming. Have new set of M/T 26x10 stiff sidewalls slicks for one pair and I'll stick a set of M/T 275/50 DR's on other set.

Need stupid hubrings for the wheels. So can't even use them this weekend. Rather annoyed right now. Did atleast get a chance to see them on car and yes I likey....alot

Also need to change setup on front hub. The 1" bolt on spacers have to go as new wheels are 1.25"bs but will be perfect with only the fox arms and no spacer. S

I have them on my notch and probably selling them this winter. They are nice though.

I have them in direct drilled. One thing to note is, throw away the lugnuts immediately, theyre garbage, you'll want McGard 63000's

I didn't order their lugs or anything. Got all my hardware at Summit for a fraction of the price.
