Help a guy out - cam selection

92 LX 5.0, stock short block, GT-40p heads, GT-40 tubular intake, 65mm TB, BBK cold air intake, Ford Racing shortie headers, full exhaust, no emissions equipment, C4 tranny 3000 stahl, 3:73 gears. Seems like a great combo, runs real good. HOWEVER! I really like the idle quality of an aftermarket cam, nothing better than a cammed 5.0. I would love to see a power increase, but really don't care. Seems from what I have read that the 303 cams are outdated, love the idle of the B-303. This is NOT a daily driver and when I drive it, I do so the way a 5.0 should be driven. I don't baby it, but shift conservatively at 5 grand when on it. Haven't been to the track yet. Not interested in changing springs, rockers, pushrods at this time. Sooo....what are your recommendations?

Yeah given your minimal mods, I think a 303 cam would wake her up just enough to give you what you need!

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

I used to have an F-cam, I loved it. They recommend springs, but at 5 grand, you prob won't need em, lol. I shifted mine above 6 with the F-cam

I agree. Worked well with my very similar combo, they should be all over the place at this point used and cheap.
