NMRA Milan June 15th & 16th

We are planning to head out to the NMRA race at Milan June 15th & 16th (Note this is a two day race versus the typical 3 day). Will be heading out early Friday morning to be there to test Friday afternoon, then run True Street on Saturday.

Flanders broke his stuff testing (hurt parts) and it's looking like he wont be able to defend his win last year :(

Bob, If you let me know when you're going to test & tune, I'll make a trip up. I can always use the practice on the tree.When my old eyes tell my brain to push the gas pedal, I have to run every one down. I was a little better in the late 50's and early 60's. One of these days, I'll get the hang of it.

Not a bad day testing. When the car hooked I was all over the 12 flat even in the heat. Had some spinning issues on a few passes. I think I got it where it needs to be as long as the weather doesnt change a lot.

We will see.

It really is, I can not believe we both won at one race, but to back it up was crazy with both of us winning at both tracks.

Ryan went through the bracket field and ended up runner up in that too.

For those that know J & Josh ... Josh had the field covered on the first pass. His second pass was slower, but enough to cover. Toward the end of that pass, something flew out from under his car. He broke the belt tensioner, of course that lost the water pump and hydraboost (no power steering or power brakes). He was pretty heart broke.
