    As far as I know, a 5.0 won't stroke to 408. The 408 is built on a 351W.

I have a 351W setting on the engine stand waiting to "grow up" to a 408!! Then stick it in the Ranger.

Back to the OP...the 5.0 vs 351W width and height difference will greatly change your exhaust and oil pan set ups.

Well I've done got the 302 and twin kit And 347 I ment I was planning on doing a 351 that's why I said that but got a good deal on the parts I bought the plan was to to a 302 stroker motor with twin turbo set up aluminum heads and all the goodies with a auto and trans brake I've heard mixed stories on it if will hold or not with a stock block and I really don't wanna buy a dart block at the moment

I think a stock 5.0 block will be very near or past its limits if you are running forced induction on a stroker.

i just started at wyotech so give me a break. haha but im wanting to build this to last because after i get out of school at the end of next year i will be going out west. Not planning on driving the car but will no longer have the shop i will be able to use now. This is the first ford ive had and first motor ive built like this. Ive put cams and what not in alot of chevy motors so what im asking here is ive got a 302 motor and a twin turbo set up that ive done got what would be the best way to make a ton of power and keep fuel injection? I know i will need a new harness to make it speed density then convert that to mas system but what else will i need?

I wouldn't put one penny into a rotating assembly going into a stock block (5.0L). Waste of money. Run the stock shortblock.

Stock 85-92 5.0s have forged rods and pistons. With a good tune (I mean safe timing and AFR, not paying someone) 500rwhp will last a while. Save your money on the rebuild and grab a stock short for a few hundred.
