So I am working in the garage today and head upstairs and decide to switch the laundry as I walked past. I hear this rustling noise overhead and look up and see the insulation moving along the top of the wall. So I'm thinking mouse and then I think what ever is in there is way to big to be a mouse. About the time I finish that thought about 1/2 of a 6 foot long snake drops down as it pushes the insulation out. Just for the record snakes just give me the creeps. They always have. So I grab a plastic bin and put it under it and try to drop it into the bin. It sticks its head out and starts hissing. So I had to kill it. Then we realize there is another one up there, just as big as the first. Give me a break. Had to kill it too. Freaked my wife and daughter out. It didn't bother my son at all. He went up and just touched the back of my wifes neck right after it happened and I thought someone was trying to kill her she screamed so loud. He couldn't even catch his breath he was laughing so hard.

Between the spiders being spotted and your snakes, I'm about ready to move somewhere else!! I'd rather fight off bears than deal with creepy crawlers!!!

I saw a copperhead at work last thursday... I was only armed with toilet paper so I did my business elswhere and went back with the sig but it was gone then. God I hate spiders and snakes.

Same here, if they were rat snakes they're great to have around. I've had the itch to get another snake, crazy but I want a Western Diamondback. My parents live in Tucson and have had about 6 of them in the yard. They're too scared to pack one up and ship it.

I was in the same boat a few weeks ago, walked into the garage and a 4 foot black snake ripped past my feet. I chopped him up with a shovel and went back to business, about an hour later, i see something moving out of the corner of my eye. I look up and there is a 6+ footer hanging above me on the garage door track. Couldnt get at him, too high. The next day he was back, we filled him full of bbs and havent seen him since. I hate the bastards!!!
