"This one class qualifies Pennsylvania residents to obtain the Pennsylvania, Utah and/or Arizona concealed firearm permits. This powerful combination will allow you to carry a firearm in up to 37 different states including OH, PA, WV, DE, VA, etc."

Ohio needs to get on the wagon.

The class is 100.00. The fee for the utah licence is 65.00, paid separately when you send the application in.

Utah is a good permit to have. Lucky for me Florida only requires a DD214 to obtain theirs and gives just as much coverage in conjunction with a PA resident permit. Attached is a jpeg of PA resident/FL non resident. It's total bullshit we have to go through this to legally carry our firearms...

Mike, I strongly agree. Its supposed to be a free country and we have the right to protect ourselves. If you can obtain a LTC from your own state, you should be allowed to carry anywhere without worries.

Vermont was always my favorite...no license needed.

I took the class and currently hold the permit. It made sense being so close to OH, and Utah recognized.

As far as I'm concerned, if you can legally own any weapon, you should be able to carry it any way you want, wherever you want.

Completely agreed. I was actually reading on some OC laws this morning.

How would I legally and open carry if I am somewhere, by means of vehicle? Would you then have to unload your gun and place it somewhere seperate without the ammo? Even beings in a vehicle unloaded, and in the glovebox I would assume it would be still be a concealed weapon, loaded or not.

cant seem to find anything on that, other than being told that you have to have a LTCF to have a firearm in a motor vehicle.

Everyone should have a permit IMO, especially if you own guns or are around guns. It's kind of like a get out of jail free card, unless you do something really stupid, having a permit eliminates a lot of potential legal issues. Using your example of open carry without a permit, the second you enclose your self in the vehicle, the weapon is concealed and you are in the wrong unless you unload the firearm and store it accordingly.

Don't get me started on open carry! It's legal, it should be legal and I don't have a problem with anyone who does, but I think it's a bad idea 90% of the time and causes way more problems then it solves. I don't need or want the attention. Seems to me that most people that open carry are attention whores who want to be seen and talked about. Makes them feel like they are hung like a horse or something!!!
