Thumbs up BillyNOTnice revisits GodSpeed Dyno = craps pants

What's up guys. I just thought i'd share some of my recent joy with you all. I drove over to GodSpeed Dyno in Spring Mills, PA on the 20th and spun the rollers. I didn't really have a reason for going back since my car already made good power the last time I was there 2 years ago, but a buddy of mine was going and I figured i'd go and turn the wick up a little bit to see what the outcome would be. However it ended up raining and my buddy cancelled on me. I decided to go myself because 600hp street cars aren't scared of rain. I got over there strapped in and Made 5 pulls as you can see below. My previous best numbers were 624/622 RW. This time I had a best of 709.7rwhp and 750rwtq. I was blown away to say the least. I was running 15psi/18* timing with my old numbers. I increased that to 18psi/20* timing to gain my new numbers! I am officially a member of the 700 club. I never in my life thought I would own a 700hp car. Apparently I underestimated my level of awesome LOL. I will post the videos of the runs as well.

Troy... man I was disappointed when I came home. I had hooked up the FlashACQ data logging before I left, but I guess I forgot to arm the thing prior to making the pulls because I didn't get anything logged. So it's anybodies guess. I was thinking it could have been possible tire spin, or the turbo running out of it's efficiency range. Honestly i'm not really anybody qualified to answer that question. You can look at the graphs I posted and see the boost, except for the last one, he must have forgotten to add that line to the graph he printed out for me. I'm sure it was the same as all of the rest because I didn't change anything and if it would have dropped I would have noticed when I was reviewing the data on the screen.

John, If I could have gotten some logs I'd tell you.. but i guess i'll have to wait until i get to the track. I plan on doing some test and tuning here once the weather starts to break and cool down.

-TooFast98Cobra.. Thanks. I'm not sure exactly, but I was lifting on the gas pedal early. I'm not sure if my shift light was coming on or not. I'm fairly sure I crushed the rev limiter on one of those pulls, but I'm not sure If i have it set at 6200 or what, but I don't ever recall seeing my shift light come on???????

Any time man. I've given much thought to selling my toys and putting a hefty down payment on a 13 GT500, but talked myself out of it numerous times. Maybe someday i'll join the upper echelon.

I love my new car and use it alot more but its not as rewarding as having one that is."your own". Its a nice car but i dont feel right going to shows and popping the hood, its just a new car built by Ford.

    - Thanks 93Saleen!

    - Lou, I know what you mean, you're previous car was definitely unique!

-Troy, Thanks! I'm still stoked about it. I just wish I had more car nuts around here who knew how much of a task making that kind of power is.

Thanks guys. I was getting bored with the car since I haven't been working on it, but I've been pretty stoked since the dyno!
