engine codes???

i was gonna order some parts today for my car but the guy asked me what my engine code was..

does anyone know how i can find this out, or just know off hand?

I think it was $1,200 shipped at the time. My only regret is that I didn't get cams and lt's at the time, but that would've been $1,200 more dollars and probably a flat-bed ride for a custom dyno tune.

With all the stock PI stuff and all other bolt-ons, it put down 246HP and 292TQ at the wheels. Rob 1997GT on this site has the car now.

The aftermarket is just not real nice to the OHC motors yet. They've been in the Mustang for 12 years now, you'd think there might be some decent head and intake options by now????????????????????????????????????
