I ended up winning the 13 second class in true street and Ryan Moran who is also local (I don't know his name on this board) won the 11 second class.

Ryan isnt on here ... we have been running these together all year, that was his third 11.00 win. Race day was a failure for me. I will fix the issues and head for Bowling Green

I was the runner up in Bracket 3. I had a .070 light and ran a 13.533 on a 13.52 dial. The winner had a .032 light and ran a 15.499 on a 15.49 dial. I had a 1/2 decent package. His was just better. Still got a plaque and some $, so it was a good week-end.

Race is a scheduled event. They can't move these back for weather that may or may not effect the race in advance.

What part of we got the race in dont you get? The NHRA has RAIN NOW at INDY.

ProMedia is not the NHRA ... The guys that work that series do NMRA / NMCA, the west coast versions of both series, plus other specialty events all at tracks they "borrow". Look at the schedule for National Trail, they are booked EVERY weekend through the rest of the year. Look at the schedules for the ProMedia guys, they are commited too ....

Even bigger, look at the schedule of those weekend racers that arranged vacations from work, booked hotels, towed our junk out there, and otherwise came to support the event ... I could NOT go back another weekend and am VERY happy that they did what was needed to get the show in. We lost a True Street pass, The bracket only guys got screwed loosing a day (Sunday) but they held B3 for the True Street guys to get in. The heads up guys lost qualifying passes but nobody got sent home that I know of (not enough cars anyway). The show went on with the best option possible for what was going on.

In the end ... we raced.

Ohh I hear ya Bob loud and clear on all that. That's good ya got to race even thou a hurricane was predicted to roll thru a week ahead! A's for effort across the board! Again congrats everyone and um glad everyone made it home safe and sound!
