what the F*$% is wrong with people?

If the car is solid and the paint is decent, put some stock-ish wheels/tires on it, sell the rolling abortions currently on the car, rip out that stereo crap, and re-list the car for $15k.

I just got back from MB, SC. That is ALL you saw down there...lifted cars with stupid big wheels. Everything from modern cars (Challengers) and old clapped out Buicks. Best one I saw was a Cutless Sierra.........

It's worth buying to return back to stock as long as he's got all the original suspension for it.

You would need a lot. Most of these are done by modifying stock suspension. Hell I wonder how much new door panels and a back seat would cost.

Ah, I figured they just bolted new suspension on. I didn't know they hacked the original stuff up.

You probably got $3000 at least in misc. bullshit you could sell off of it. Get some nice 18"s for it and you've got a sweet ride for $9-10k.

Hey, different strokes for different folks. Not everyone likes lowriders, but they still got a love for cars. Not everyone likes the rat rod folks, but still love for cars.

I stopped at a gas station a while back around 11PM, in a relatively bad neighborhood. Clean Grand Marquis pulls up, got big wheels but a nice sounding exhaust. Big dude gets out and is getting gas. Probably wouldn't talk to him and typecast him as a "homie?"

I stopped and said "Car sounds real good," and his face lit up happy that someone was asking about his ride. We bullshitted for prob. 5 minutes about Stangs and whatnot, he told me about his car and what he had done to it, and that was that. So I try and reserve passing judgement until I actually talk to people.
