    Close call at Duryea '12

    Nice little video of me going sideways under braking at 120+ (radar had me at 123 coming into the corner on this run), was able to get back into the throttle and get through the kink at T6 without hitting anything. Full run posted below, just the slide is the first video if you don't feel like sitting through the whole 116 seconds.

    Very nice save. What happened exactly? It sounded like the brakes locked up.

    There is a massive dip in the road where I was, I came into the braking zone before T6 a bit off line from where I wanted to be and braked later than I ever had. I think the left rear locked for a split second, and the car just went out. The ABS and TC are both disabled on the car (pulled fuse). I have the same compound pads front and rear on the car (Hawk DTC-30s) and I should probably running a bit less rear pad, the factory proportioning is surprisingly good for a car that is meant to have ABS, but biased toward the rear just a bit too much.
