anyone on here fish? Where?

Figured it was worth asking.. might be a long shot. just wondering if anyone around the pittsburgh area (western side by Beaver) has any good suggestions for fishing spots. Just getting back into fishing and since im still learning places around the area, was hoping anyone could give me some pointers of places to go. No boat so shore fishing is all ive got... and looking to catch anything other than Catfish (they get the job done but arent my target).

Anyways, anyone got any tips/tricks of local areas they hit up with luck?

The Ohio River at the mouth of Little Sewickley Creek is a popular spot. Drive to the extreme corner of Buncher Industrial Park and park there, it is a short walk from there.

I do quite a bit of trout fishing..probably not much near your area though. Slippery rock creek is a real great place to fish for trout.

Going to try out some Steelhead fishing for the first time here in a couple weeks up in Erie at Elk Creek and a few other different spots, pretty excited for that.

I'm getting back into fishing as well. The stream in my back yard is a stocked Trout stream, but by this time in the year pickin's are slim. Big Sewickley Creek.

It's not the creek, it's the river where the creek ends. Walleye, Sauger, Bass, Carp, Catfish.

Definately hoping to catch some walleye, sauger and pike or musky since none of those are in Texas.

We fish down at deep creek MD. when we go there for vacation. Not that it's close, but it's worth the drive to crank in 35LB carp!

Id love to fish Deep Creek, but so far have only driven through several times on the way to the in-laws.
