Cool Tried some hash stripes on for size

Tried some red hash stripes out on the Stang. Let me know what you think. They're only on the left side. I have the right ones if anyone wants them?

Thanks guys! Black was definitely considered but I thought it would fit in "too well" if that makes sense? I've gotten mixed reviews on it. At some point I'll upgrade my front brakes to the Cobra brakes with the red calipers which would pull it together a bit more. I actually like how the hash marks don't match anything. They were originally used to ID race cars (first seen on the 63 Vette) on the track before modern day electronics.

I was kinda going for this look (although I'm not trying to compare my car to an AC Cobra in any real way ;) )

The great part about it was that they're vinyl and were only $39 so if I decide to remove them or change them up, I'm not out much at all...Thanks for the opinions!

Car looks nice - and I'm not a big fan of orange. Those black bullitts really set it off.

I like Ed's idea of charcoal gray stripes.

18x9 (that would normally fit 99-04)

I used 1995 front spindles and brakes and 04 Cobra spec rear brakes and Ranger/Bronco II/Aerostar axles. Fender & quarters had to be rolled to fit...

18x10 in the rear by the way...

Great looking car! I like the red but think charcoal gray would look better too! The orange and red contrast a lot.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

The car looks great, but I personally think it would look better with no stripes. I think it does need something on the side, but I think a new 5.0 badge would look better than the stripes.

They'd look better centered over the wheel IMO...

Nice loking car! I agree with the darker stripe suggestion, and either over the wheel or behind it. I also used some light pinstriping with mine.
