I don't understand why private sellers try to hit the "Jackpot". Nobody has ever paid me for my mods and I ain't paying nobody else for their mods, either. Ford made like 50,000 Mustang GTs every year from 99-04 (6yrs). I don't know why everybody with a lower mileage GT thinks they have a gold mine.
Watch Ebay for a while to get a feel for what they're worth. Don't look at the "buy it now" price. Go to "completed listings" and check out what they really sell for.
That s/c '04 I brought up the other day didn't meet reserve and bidding ended at $15,400. Granted, the mileage was 48K, but it had at least $10K in mods.
There's a '99 GT on there right now... all stock 5-speed with 20K miles. The price has been stuck on $7,100 for three days.

I know the price will rise in the next few days, but it'll probably top out around $10K which is what it's worth, IMO.
Sorry for the rant, I just ain't paying over book value and I don't like to see anybody else do it either.
offer 12,500 all he can say is no
ridin fast, hittin da hills, throwin some dirt
2003 polaris predator 500
(wanna ride,just pm me!!!)
And what alot of sellers don't realize is that a bank isn't going to give people a loan for much over blue book.
