looked like an even race once the mustang got the hit.....
gotta give props to the Coyote for a damn fast car... but also gotta give props to the 'Vette - he's racing a well modified car, that likely makes as much (or more) HP to the rear wheels than the Vette makes at the crank...

That coyote is fast and I love it! but overall better car is still the vette and no one can deny that.
As far as it being so expensive, it will also hold its value ALOT better than any mustang
That's an awesome video.. Thanks guys. one of my best friends just bought a 2010 ZR1 vette this summer. I'll make sure to post these on his fb page :)

Don't have the coin for that stuff so I tend not to imagine outside what I can afford. I'd rather build a reproduction and drive the snot out of it...take the kids for icecream, bang the ol'lady in the front seat...you know...USE IT. Even if I had that kind of jingle to drop I'd rather be able to drive it without worrying about every iPhone toting soccer mom and "John Force" wanna be douche bag crashing into me.
exactly, but if you had the "coin" you would think differently. Yes buying cars arent really investments, but some cars are. Just like houses are investments except some arent. How many cars did you have when growing up and now thinking man I shoulda kept that because it would be worth so much right now. I know my dad says that all the time about his 69 camaro, road runner, challenger, a couple mustangs and so forth.
But as far as value, with the cost of the car + cost of mods and the price you sell it for you will always get more money out of a corvette hands down.
Believe me I am like you are and if I buy something I drive it. I would daily drive a new GTR if i had the extra space, but Im smart enough to know to barely drive if ever drive an original 427 Shelby Cobra
Last OT post.........then why buy it? At least a house you can live in while gains value. Buying a house solely for resale and relating that to the car world would mean that you would live in a camper in the front yard and only let folks walk around the outside without ever going in it...you've seen the stickers..."look all you want but DO NOT TOUCH!"
You friggin kids........stay off the grass!!! ;)
sorry but not all houses gain value over time. Cause to some people that is what its about.. Thats like saying why mod a car then never take it to the track? Why mod a car just for car shows? Makes no sense to me at all, then why mod it at all, does that mean its wrong? No, Its what people enjoy. Some people enjoy owning a car to say they own it. I have bought numerous cars just to say I owned them. Hell I bought a harley just to say I have owned a harley and sold it. Thats just how some people are. My best friends grandpap owners a rare camaro valued at over 100k and he has only driven it twice in the past few years cause for the simple fact it gains value over time without driving it. Some cars are investments.

Agreed!! They are just not for me.
BTW...friend of mine has a '67 Yenko 427/Auto Camaro. He's the original owner and the car has less than 15K miles on it. I'm pretty sure it's one of five auto cars made that year...not sure how to verify that though.
Hahahaha!! ;)
