Really nice how the guys on the return road never got out of their car to see if the driver was OK. Just kept on driving back to the pits.

Holy CHIT!! What a shame and yeah what a bunch of bags to just look and keep driving right past. People kill me sometimes. Hope the guy is okay. He probably is but he's devistated over his car for sure.

Guard rails are nothing but metal ramps. How many times does this have to happen for track owners to finally open their eyes and spend the money on Jersey barriers especially on the big end! I won't race there, ever

I always wondered about a rollover in a vert without a cage.....even on the street. That would be ugly.

That's kinda why we just sold ours. Wife was paranoid of something happening. So we are looking at new hardtop 5.0's!

Yep from few weeks back and car was totaled. Saw pics of it and only thing that kept roof up was his roll bar. Was an odd wreck especially top end. Something had to lock up in rear end to cause that.

One reason I ever get the vert done it will have a 10point cage and still need to put an 8 point on the '04

    Holy crap that would suck.

Anyone able to confirm what caused the driver to lose control?

The '66 will have at least a 4-point bar before I run it at the track again.

Its looks as thou it happened shifting into fourth gear! He may have went from 3rd to 2nd instead of 4th and lock't the rear up!? I did it before merging onto the highway out of a long dragged out on ramp. My rear lock't up and did almost the same move. I caught it before I let the clutch out the whole way but I ended up popping a rocker arm off!
